In this economy, it can be tough to travel in general. We are all watching our money more closely and want to get more “bang” for our buck. One of the best ways to do that is taking advantage of cruise travel. They offer top quality service, destinations, accommodations and all for a reasonable price. If you have the right cruise expert, you can take advantage of everything the cruise lines have to offer and not always shown on their websites and brochures. Here’s a list of just a few of the luxury amenities they offer and are included.
Top-notch accommodations. When you book a cruise you have a choice of Staterooms. You can choose a Grand Suite, Suite – a room with a balcony (highly suggested), an Ocean View or an Interior room. Each stateroom has a dedicated steward who will look after your stateroom during your cruise.
Included with your Stateroom:
• 24-hour room service
• Interactive TV with multi-language film and music channels
• Direct-Dial telephone & data port outlet
• Refrigerator, safe, hair dryer
• Bathrobe & slippers
• Nightly turndown service
Dining: All of your on board meals are included in the main restaurants or the 24 hour self service buffet restaurants. A 24-hour complimentary room service menu is also available. Specialty restaurants can also be found on board at a nominal fee
Drinks: Tea, coffee, water and fruit juice are complimentary. Alcoholic drinks, specialty teas and coffees at all bars will be charged to your on board account
Entertainment and On Board Activities: A full program of daytime and evening entertainment is included on every luxury cruise. The cruise lines all have a daily activities sheet or newsletter and shows your schedule of ship activities and daily entertainment events.
Fitness Center: All ships have complimentary fitness centers with state-of-the-art equipment to help you keep fit while you’re on board.
Children’s Facilities: There’s so much for children and teens to do onboard. All programs are geared to specific age groups and supervised by experienced youth staff members. Kids will be happy, engaged, and entertained.
Perks for Groups: Cruise lines generally give perks to groups that travel together. Perks from the cruise line can include free photos, dinners in onboard specialty restaurants, group cocktail parties. A travel agent makes the deals for the group. A savvy agent can get the cruise lines to compete for your business by offering more and more perks.
What is not included: Your luxury cruise fare does not include any personal items that you may purchase from the on board shops, travel insurance, tips on board for staff or any casino entertainment.
So let’s look at a comparison
I can’t express enough that having a great travel agent – cruise experts can make all the difference on cost. As I mentioned in my earlier blog Cruising Mobs Rule our cruise expert, Ryan from travelmobs, made our first cruise memorable and exciting and adventurous. We would simple go back to him every year to book our next great cruise.
